Thread and Website of the Week (YouthActionNet)

Dear all,
Youth for Change International's 8th Thread of the Week goes to "Celebrities
and Young People". Started by Noor Al Zubaidy, in this thread we have been
discussing how celebrities' acts affect young people around the world. Visit

As for our new Website of the Week, we have featured "YouthActionNet". A
frequently updated website, YouthActionNet is investing in the power and
promise of young people to create positive change in their societies. Much
like YFCI, on this website you can also create your own profile, and a
project listing for your organization (you can view YFCI there too!). There
are also forums, resources, media, and much more for youth to explore. One
of the most well known projects of this website is the award program, where
social change organizations can win $500US to help fund their projects.
There is even a Global Citizenship Quiz!

Our fellow partner, A Better Community for All (http://abc4all.net), is now
creating a weekly feature. ABC4ALL will feature a mentor each week. They
also want to is celebrate its "300" member mark, currently at 278. The
