been advertised.

World Service Enquiry are a London based charity providing information
and advice about working or volunteering in International Aid and

in international aid and development overseas, a booklet Working in
Development, as well as offering practical help on everything from
insurance cover and travel arrangements to CV and applications advice

overseas development to undertake a range of duties in their London

employers and develop an understanding of the routes into development work,
as well as general work experience in a small voluntary sector
organisation.

Key working areas are:

General administration, finance/bookkeeping (not essential!), sales and
marketing, researching jobs listings and contacting companies for
contribution to the monthly Opportunities Abroad publication, recruiting,
monitoring and supporting WSE volunteers on the WSE volunteer programme.

Students will be given their own personal project to complete and be
responsible for throughout the duration of the placement.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Willing, intelligent, confident self starter.
• Excellent communication and team skills.
• An excellent command of verbal and written English.
• The ability to commit to and take responsibility for own work.
• An interest in International Development.

six to
eight weeks through the summer, a minimum of three days a week.
