Dear Naveed,
Iâd like to share some information about Frontrunner, a free leadership
development programme Common Purpose offers for pre-career leaders.
What is Frontrunner?
Frontrunner is a four-day residential programme, free of charge, for
pre-career leaders.
Is it for me or someone I know?
Frontrunner is aimed at those who have already shown evidence of
leadership skills in civil society through their activities and aims to
inspire them to continue producing real change in their future careers.
The programme is open to people over 18, who may be either still in full
time education or are in the very early stages of their career, probably
in their first job.
The participants will go on visits across different sectors, be exposed to
real-life leadership dilemmas, meet the leaders who hold the day to day
responsibility for them and explore the skills required to be effective
leaders in the workplace - and the society we live in.
If you, or someone you know, have already taken a lead in creating
effective change and want to continue to make a difference â Frontrunner
could be for you.
When, where and how much?
Frontrunner will be held twice in 2008 at the following locations:
7 - 10 July at University College London
1 - 4 September at the University of Leeds
There are 30 places per programme that are fully sponsored, including
accommodation and food, by Common Purpose and the host universities.
How do I apply?
You can apply online at www.commonpurpose.org.uk. Applicants need to be
over 18.
If you have any questions, please contact Heather Reagan
