  Hi again everyone,

Thanks for your messages so far, and especially to Chukwumuanya for
proposing a strategy for how to proceed from here.

Toronto Access to Medicines Proposal:

I have attached the invitation letter I received from GYCA and the form to
propose a workshop at the preconference. You will see that Trade Issues
have been placed within the "Technical Knowledge Sessions" under "Policy".
Each session is 90 minutes long. Unfortunately I can't answer your other
questions Chukwumuanya, but I am sure GYCA will be able to provide us with
the information.

The GYCA contact person is Mila Gorokhovich -
mila.gorokhovich (at) gmail.com

You need to return the form by the 9th of June so I guess we should start
brainstorming!

Remember you can use or adapt the materials Andre prepared for the workshop
in Cambodia if you think this is appropriate.

GYCA also asked whether you would like to be teamed up with a professional
expert to present the session. GYCA is planning to do this to assist some
of the youth presenters. My view is that you are all expert and
professional in this area and will be fine just working together, but it is
up to you to decide what you want to do.

Individual proposals and facilitator opportunities:

You should all also consider whether you would like to propose to present
other sessions as an individual.

Mila also said that they are looking for youth people with expertise in
different areas who can help facilitate small groups during some of the
sessions. She said many of the sessions will start off in a big room with
125 people and then break up into groups of 40. They need volunteer
facilitators for these small groups.

Hope all this is helpful - let the brainstorming begin!

Best wishes,
Sanushka
