The Nepal Youth Social Forum (NYSF-2008) is the first event of its kind in Nepal, to be coordinated by Youth Action Nepal (YOAC) and scheduled to be held on September 26-27, 2008 in Biratnagar, Nepal. Youth are the essence of transformation; they have the power to bring great and far-reaching changes, they are the realists dreaming for the impossible and building another world. The theme of NYSF-"Creating Youth Vision for Future Nepal" is the one that focuses on building up coalitions of existing youth focused social movements to raise collective voice for peace, inclusive democracy and sustainable development in building a New Nepal. The forum is a collective effort that is attempting to realize an alternative future by creating space for action and interaction among young people from all over Nepal and interested youth around the world.
