	The conference will take place in Seoul, Korea on June 22-24. It will be co-organized by the World Bank and the Government of Korea (Ministry of Strategy and Finance and the Korea Development Institute, KDI). The overall theme of the conference is “Lessons from East Asia and the Global Financial Crisis”.Conference will focus on five broad themes: Industrial Policy and DevelopmentSocial Capital, Institutions, and DevelopmentFinancial Crisis and RegulationThe Road Ahead to a Sustainable Global Economic SystemInnovation and CompetitionConditionsTravel, accommodation, meals, and local transportation will be provided to all beneficiaries. Each beneficiary is responsible for securing his/her visa, with the assistance of the host country, if necessary. Local transportation in the beneficiary’s country of origin will not be covered.
