	First of all I would like to commend the committee that set up this e-conference for the betterment of the Niger Delta Region, and for the peaceful co- existence in our great Country Nigeria. I would like to present my own Submission in three ways: Firstly, the governement should provide job opportunities to the youths in this region ( Niger Delta), especially for the graduates, and vocational training for the young school-leavers, that is; those that have thier Senior School Certificate and lacks funds to further to the University Level. This way it will heelp to culb the menaence of youth restiveness and militancy in the region. Seconly, the government should provide them with basic infrustructures like good roads, electricity, good water and so on. because some of this minor things being undermined by the government might also leads to restiveness in the region. Finally, the government should built recreational facilities in the region (Niger Delta). Most of the youth in this region have enormouse talents but lacks the means of exploring it. be it sport, arts etc. I am very optimistic that if government provide this things underlisted and many more, it will go a long way in solving the problems in the Niger Delta Region.
