	Dear Colleagues, Welcome to Day 4 of this econference! Many people I have interacted with on the Niger-delta development challenge feel that the biggest challenge is how to get the militants out of the creeks and find a way to lasting peace for the region. What is in your opinion the best ways to negotiate the peace? What kinds of programmes should be initiated to support reintegration efforts and rehabiltation? How can peace be brokered and sustained. Hope we can get more inputs today. I hope we will be able to summarise the discussions of the last couple of days and provide a final report by end of Friday.
