As the dust is about to settle in Nigeria, Lets us have faith, and who says Nigeria cannot rule the world? in the early seventies the naira was 2 steps to the GREAT British pounds, the DOLLARS was no where to be found, 3 last decades , due to our leaders negligence, selfish interest and foresight nature, we dropped to an insignificant down thrown of over 2000% loss to the pounds and other currencies of the world. The only problem we have in Nigeria is bad leadership from time to time.

If our leaders are really honest, they can make poverty history by following the rules of law and saying no to any form of corruption in the political system. With this, ordinary Nigerians will have no choice to follow up the rules set up by the Federal government.

If the federal government of Nigeria decides to deal with corruption squarely; friends¢ corruption will be a thing of the past in Nigeria. It has worked in China, Ghana, and other parts of the world, why not in Nigeria? If corruption in Nigeria is not taking care of seriously without favour, corruption will continue to threaten us and our unborn children.

Majority of Nigerians are very loving, caring, and hard working people. But do our corrupt leaders really recognize and care about this people who are ready by all means to make difference? In this regard, I kindly urge President Umaru Yar¢Adua and all the movers and shakers to listen to the voices of change and make difference from the previous administrations in order to establish a New Nigeria that is highly needed.

It is time for us to rise up to retrieve our reputation in the Global position. We have the resources, both human and material resource in the Niger Delta and other part of the country, why are they not being used to provide common needs for the people of Niger Delta and the nation in general?. I decree, let the eyes of our leaders be open to appropriate these resources well in other to eradicate poverty in Nigeria.

The earlier we start preparing the better for us. The Niger Delta needs rapid infrastructural development, capacity building, above all, Youths unemployment¢s needs to be history for peace to rein in this region. Nigeria is great and must surely rise to the top and have her place.
