	Dear Colleagues, There were quite few responses to yesterday's discussion. I hope we will be able to really get the contributions coming in today. Please see the message tread at www.groups.takingitglobal.org/NDYConference. Yesterday, I got a chance to address the sub-committee on youth, women and community development at the Presidential Technical Committee on the Niger-delta. I identified a number of priority investment areas related to youth development and informed the committee about this e-conference. The outcomes is therefore being expected by the committee at the end of this process. Today's discussion will focus on critical infrastructure needs in the Niger-delta region and the implications for youth development. If we need electricity, what impact will it have on youth development? if we need good roads and an effective transportation system, what impact will it have on youth development? As in the previous two days, it will be nice to highlight best practices related infrastructure development in other developing countries and how the strength of the youth was utilised.
