Dear Ella,
is very unfutunate that i am not present in this conference,i wish to be part of this conference,this country particulally the Niger Delta are not lacking to take care of the situation of the youth in Niger Delta,this situation of violance can not just stop because the young people are on presure from their immediate family no better food for this guys ,nothing has plan for their future ,and Walahi today if the Youths of Niger-Delta are involve in decesion taking for the N/Delta you will see changes ,the stake holders in government are the cost of everything bad that is happening they dont care wether the lesprevellage are human .
But my request in this conference is the government to consider the role of Youths in a community and give this guys their rights,the government of Niger Delta to open up to the Youth let their Budgets be printed every month and share to the Youth groups to enable them know what the government is doing with their money,this can enable them monitor the activities that are been use their money for, one funy thing with government egents is that they dont know that now we are practicing democracy in Nigeria ,and they dont know that we know how they are mis-using our money , once they remember that we have the rights to have acess to the expenditures of government and we have the rights to monitor our resources been manage by agents of government them all things will change,Youth of this country are the government ,people working are just the agents they need not to sit on our money for selfish interest.Let the Youth have detail
information of all money allocated to
their respective government.

This conference holding from October 13-18, 2008 is an avenue to discuss the
development situation in the Niger-delta, with emphasis on the implications for
youth development, to prioritise development investment needs of the youth
highlighting quick wins as well as long term development issues, and to collate
the views of young people from the Niger-delta, Nigeria and the international
community on the development of the region. The final report of the conference
will be collated and submitted to the Niger-delta Steering Committee in late
October, 2008.
