Nicely resuscitated Nick. I shall attempt the same (although alas I have no such fine excuses - I just don't check this email very often!...)

1. Where are you? Well, I'm in my room, in Norwich. In a few hours I shall be in Rome. Then Norwich again. London. And Kenya.

2. What are you doing these days? I've just about finished second year of Geography and Development Studies at UEA. I'm generally keeping busy with Students' Union stuff, helping out at a local primary school, enjoying old episodes of Peep Show (the new series is a bit crap. agree?), starting to plan a dissertation (critiquing eco-towns), and going to silent discos.

3. Any plans? Hmm. Yes lots. I like plans. I recently transferred my multiple lists of things to do and things to plan to one snazzy notepad file on my laptop, which makes me feel very grown up but doesn't actually help said things get done/planned. As mentioned, I'm visiting some exciting places and am off on a University field trip to Kenya for a month in a couple of weeks time. I'm also in the exciting stage of starting to slightly tentatively think about what I shall do when I wave goodbye to UEA in a year's time (I know, I like to forward-plan) which is exciting. Particularly as I've still got ages. I also have some grand(ish) plans for our University Make Poverty History society, which leads me to...

4. Any cool campaigning things? I finished my stint at Union Ethics Officer at Easter, but not before I'd developed a nifty (good word) labelling scheme for all the stuff we sell in the Union supermarket, based on the Good Shopping Guide's scoring system. Apparently the NUS are interested in spreading it to other Unions. Not campaigning as such, but kinda cool. I'm also attempting to infiltrate MPH group at uni, which has got a bit stale and just wants to fundraise. Exciting. And I'm now on the Oxfam Activist Board, which is looking at how to get more people engaged as activists.

5. Photo. I would actually quite like to attach a photo, but as far as I remember the Taking It Global email thing filters them out anyway. See Facebook. I haven't had a hair cut (although I did give myself a trim a few weeks ago - with the result that one side is half an inch longer than the other).

Lots of Oxfam love to you all.
