Hi everyone! Casper, what a fab idea. Ok, here goes...

1. Where are you: In my little office in Mooiplaas. Mooiplaas is a rural village in Mpumalanga in South Africa, on the other side of the mountain from the Swaziland border. It has (I quote from my community profile) "approximately 4 small shops"! But you can get chocolate so am quite happy :-)

2. What are you doing these days: Working for VSO on it's Global Xchange programme, co-ordinating a group of 18 volunteers who are on a 6 month programme. Half the vols are British, half are South African, and they spend 3 months here in Mooiplaas, and then I'm bringing them all back to Swansea in June and they'll volunteer there for 3 months too. May as well mention (!) but I'm recruiting host homes in Swansea who can host a cross cultural pair of volunteers for between 2 and 11 weeks from 13th June - we provide an allowance of £75 per week per pair to cover food and living costs, so if any of you either live in Swansea or know someone who does who might be interested in finding out more about how to do this then please get in touch! My volunteers are all lovely lovely people and host homes would get to benefit from an exciting intercultural experience from the comfort of their own homes... (ok, I'll stop now!)

3. Any plans you'd like to tell us about: Hmmmm, I'm going to Lesotho in about a week to visit a friend who's teaching there... Technically becoming unemployed in September when my contract finishes, though might renew it and do another programme... Will see!

4. Any cool campaigning things you've done recently: Well, am doing quite a lot of stuff with my volunteers at the moment. The theme of our programme is HIV & AIDS, and it turns out that in Mooiplaas you're not allowed to promote condom use in schools, so looking into whether we can do something around that. Hopefully going to be doing more HIV & AIDS related stuff back in Swansea, maybe organise a walk in July/August. Quite a few interesting ideas in the pipeline, though trying to get my volunteers to take ownership and catch the campaigning bug.

5. Now attach a picture so we can see if you got your hair cut, or
something. Well, as much as I would love to post a picture unfortunately the internet connection here doesn't do photos (it can just about cope with emails) so sadly the photo ain't gonna happen ;-) Probably just as well as there's been a water cut here for the last 2 days and my hair is in need of a wash!

Great to hear what everyone's up to though. If there are any plans for CHANGE reunions come summer then let me know ;-)

Take care all xxx

Hello everyone! It has been far too long.

1. Where are you: In the computer room of the uni library avoiding work
by playing on www.freerice.com - try it!

2. What are you doing these days: In the third year of my degree, but
I'm on a four year course so no worries about the real world yet!

3. Any plans you'd like to tell us about: Not much really, trying to
sort out summer plans at the moment, but my serious student debt is
putting a stop to that.

4. Any cool campaigning things you've done recently: I was very busy
last summer - I did an internship at Plan UK, working on their "because
I am a girl" campaign promoting girls' rights. I also worked as a
fundraising volunteer for Interact Worldwide, an HIV and Aids charity.
I also went to south africa with Girlguiding UK to develop a peer
education project - raising awareness of child trafficking and the use
of children in drug trafficking, amongst other things! As far as Oxfam
is concerned I campaigned about our Oxfam shop in Durham becoming a Jack
Wills, but to no avail!

5. Now attach a picture so we can see if you got your hair cut, or
something. erm... no.

Hope everyone is well.
