Hello everyone!
I want to inform you of a great opportunity to get involved with Oxfam
Campaigning this summer!
I am going to a festival called NASS (National Action Sports Show), which
is staged at Bath & West Showground in Somerset from 6th-8th July 2007. The
site is just down the road from Glastonbury, but for anyone who was there
or saw highlights on TV, it is a showground, and so it wont get that muddy
if it rains!
We still have plenty of places available for campaigners at this year's
festival, who will be meeting and talking to punters about Climate Change
and encouraging them to take an action on Climate Chaos by signing an Oxfam
petition. This petition will go to Gordon Brown's government and then to
the UN Climate Change Conference in Bali in December.
NASS will be a great chance for Oxfam to communicate with a slightly
different audience than will be seen at any other festival we attend this
summer. I am really excited about this opportunity and I hope that you will
be too. Not only that, you will also get in to the festival for free in
exchange for three 4-hour shifts of campaigning! So what could be better?!
It will be great to meet the punters and then to get out and about
afterwards to see what the festival has to offer.

If extreme sports and altenative music is not your thing - then please dont
be discouraged. It should be a great fun weekend and a chance to get out
there and get involved.
I will attach the application forms for campaigning at this festival. If
you are interested then just fill them in online and email them to me at
plusby (at) oxfam.org.uk
Then I will be able to confirm you for a place and you can come along in
less than two weeks time! You will even get the first glimpse of our newly
designed Oxfam Campervan!
