In response to what Casper is rambling about re Mark Thomas, please find details below - had been meaning to email it out to everyone! And if you're on facebook, join the event: http://warwick.facebook.com/event.php?eid=2267068880&ref=mf and take lots of photos! I won't be there either much to my disappointment... =(

Dear Agent,
We were asked by comedian Mark Thomas to help him in a special secret
project he was planning for April 21st. Unfortunately everything had to
be done by this morning so their wasn't time to get everyone involved in
the first bit, however we have now got past the super secret part, and
we can tell everyone.
The Project is called "The Big One" and it involves the controversial
SOCPA zone set up around Parliament. The SOCPA zone is an area which
circles around a kilometer from Parliament in all directions, within
which it is illegal to protest without written consent from the Police.
As you can imagine, we were less than pleased when this new law came
out, and immediately set to work on a project to battle against it. See
below:
http://www.spacehij ackers.org/ html/projects/ socpa/bordercont rol.html
Since then we were invited by Mark to join him on this current project.
Basically the plan is as follows:
Annually the Metropolitan Police deal with around 2000 applications to
protest within the SOCPA zone. On April 21st we intend to host over
2000 protest (a whole year's worth) in one day. The plan is for each
person taking part to apply to do twenty 10min protests in the day.
So far a team of 100 people have handed in applications for 2000
protests, we are asking you to join us.
All you need to do is fill out the form hosted here:
http://www.markthom asinfo.com/ demoletter1. asp
with your twenty protests, print them out, and then hand them in to
Charing Cross Police Station. This must be done at least six days in
advance of the protest date.
So that you are not left on your own wandering the streets of London
looking for other Hijackers, we have organised our group so that we are
all going to converge at several points on the day. Please note, we
will all be holding entirely different and separate protests, however
occasionally we will bump into each other.
If you fill out the form, you may just happen to see some of us if you
turn up at these places in this order. Feel free to make up as many of
your own venues in the blank numbers.
