  Dear friends,

Here are my thoughts about week 3.

8. What are some peaceful and innovative ways of highlighting the importance of this issue at the conference?

I think the art work, live performance and the cultural programs are some of the innovative ways of highlighting the importance of the issue at the conference.

It is also very effective to have messages on the T shirts and buttons (pins) which should be distributed among participants. Young people should also have press conferences so that the issue can be highlighted in the media. Young people should also have a dance for life campaign or something like that so that every body can participate.

9. Imagine that you are at the conference. What kind of tools, actions or events do you think would serve the purpose of visibility around the advocacy message?

There should be a desk which should have the advocacy messages, stickers should be distributed and everywhere there should be stickers, posters and banners.

T shirts and art work should also represent the advocacy messages

10. When advocating using this message at the conference, what could you suggest to your decision-makers as practical and realistic next steps they can take to implement your ideas?

The practical step they can take in the conference is that they can develop partnership with the young people and they should sign and make commitments that they will develop and change policies in their countries related to HIV/AIDS and increase the funding and services.
