Greetings all! Sorry for the delay with the summary in English from
last week. It will be sent out shortly.

Here are the questions in English for Week 3- please send your responses
by Friday to be included in this week's summary! Las en espanol van a
seguir muy pronto.
Week 3
8. What are some peaceful and innovative ways of highlighting the
importance of this issue at the conference?
9. Imagine that you are at the conference. What kind of tools, actions
or events do you think would serve the purpose of visibility around the
advocacy message? (e.g. t-shirts, rallies, pins, posters, stickers, etc)
Keep in mind that there is a limit on the budget for materials and
events.
I think that the aswer to the question 8 and 9 are the same.and here is it:
One sugestion based in one well sucessed meeting here in Brasil is the creation of a radio (as a radio channel), that show the purposes, that play music related with our necessities and our work etc. and that has space to the young people be part, speak, discuss and ask and aswer questions on the radio, it's a simple idea that receive a lot of attention.
I think we should not use folders, because they use so much paper and many times are trough away very easily, or use a recycled paper to preserve the environment.
To creat CD with slides showing the goals and nessecities of the youth. we can give the CD or/and play it before some presentations during the conference.
And to creat a pin to represent the youth involvement in the fight against Aids, as we all know that the red bowknot represent the fight against Aids.
10. When advocating using this message at the conference, what could you
suggest to your decision-makers as practical and realistic next steps
they can take to implement your ideas?
Work together, trough a partnership between them and the youth, in one kind of consuler or a group composed by young people and professionals to decide the best way to put the ideas in practice.
