	Hello Everyone, Welcome to the MakePovertyHistory-Emirates Campaign. I would like to introduce you to our Group Communications System and run you through the process of how to use it. (It is extremely easy) The purpose of this system to simplify the dissemination of information and make it easily accessible to every member of a particular department. The system is a free communication tool developed by one of the campaigns IT partners - Taking IT Global (with whom we will be collaborating with for a few of our future programs) Please read the following information carefully: These are the following groups/departments of the campaign at present. 1 - MakePovertyHistory-Emirates Campaign - MPHE (at) groups.takingitglobal.org 2 - MakePovertyHistory-Emirates: Steering Committee - MPHE-Steering (at) groups.takingitglobal.org 3 - MakePovertyHistory-Emirates: News Team - MPHE-News (at) (at) groups.takingitglobal.org 4 - MakePovertyHistory-Emirates: Outreach Group - MPHE-Outreach (at) groups.takingitglobal.org 5 - MakePovertyHistory-Emirates: Administration - MPHE-Admin (at) groups.takingitglobal.org 6 - MakePovertyHistory-Emirates: Children & Youth Department - MPHE-Youth (at) groups.takingitglobal.org Each of these groups has a specific email as shown in the table above to the right side. To contact the entire constituency of a particular department/group simply send an email to that groups' email address. The email that you send will automatically be dispersed to everyone in the group, including attachments, documents etc. To email a specific person in a group: follow the same procedure. In the address column of your email put the address of the group that the person belongs to. Then in the body section of the email address the email to the specific person and compose the rest of your email. It is imperative that all further communication within the campaign follows the above procedure. Please set up your account settings and access to www.takingitglobal.org using the email address that you have received this email on. so that you can access the groups online as well and have access to documents posted by other members. Priority: When you first enable your access to the groups, make sure that you alter your 'Receive Options' (located on the home page of each group) and set it to 'Individual Emails' only! Everyone who has received this mail has been added to their respective groups. Should you need to send information or an email to everyone working in some capacity with the campaign then send your email to the Group 1 in the above list. Please set your account settings and access to www.takingitglobal.org so that you can access the groups online as well and have access to documents posted by other members.
