	Hey All! So this week is UN week, with Thursday being the 2006 International Day of Peace which just so happens to coincide with September's Local Gathering. Julia Walsh, an awesome local Jam alumni, is throwing a huge party in Union Square to celebrate, Party for Peace. http://www.partyforpeace.org Instead of having a traditional LG, Party for Peace is creating a JAM community spot for all the activist folk to chill, do some outreach to the public, and network with one another! Come on out an have some fun.
