Dear Daniel,
Greetings from PELUM-Kenya! Thank you for circulating this for us. I also support the suggested representation. These groups will represent the different groups.
I would like PELUM-Kenya also to be represented as PELUM-Kenya by two delegates. We have a large constituency (40 member organizations) and diverse interests including making a case fo the small scale farmers. Is it okay to apply as PELUM-Kenya. I also do not see why ANAW, or Action Aid, who are embers of KBioC applying. Can also Kenyan small scale farmers also seek accredition?
Good people, do you share my thinking?

Angela Wauye is indisposed this week and most of next- attending to her Fathers funeral.
The above conference is coming up and one of the requirements is that individuals and organizations have to be accredited to attend. Since we need to be heard and represented in this conference, it is suggested that we complete this process with the UN-FAO organizers. I have been asked to URGENTLY submit Names (together with ID/passport numbers) of our Kenyan delegates who would most likely attend. The conference is scheduled for June 19-20th. The location will be communicated in due time.

Dear Friends,
Happy New Year 2008! I hope all is well with you.
I have been trying to follow up the plans for the forthcoming FAO Regional Conference scheduled to take place in Nairobi at Safari Park Hotel. The Conference is on 31st March - 4th April 2008. The tentative Agenda is yet to be circulated by the FAO Kenya office and Ministry of Agriculture. Could we meet at ActionAid next week Tuesday 6th March 2008 to strategize how to participate in this meeting and also make our voices as civil society be heard? In case you have more information kindly share.
PELUM are you planning anything at all? How about KENFAP? Let me get your feedback and/or suggestions on how best to participate.
