Welcome To Kids Are People Too! EST. 2004-Bristol County Massachusettes

Our mission is to develop compassion and the spirit of service and philanthropy in elementary and middle school aged youth. To that end, we provide young people with hands-on volunteer opportunities to help others in their local and global communities. We Are dedicated on raising money for Disasters as close to home as 9/11 or as far away as the recent Tsunami. WE just finished rasing money for Cure Kids Cancer at Hasboro Childrens Hospital. We rasied over 3.5 thousand Dollars. Overall New England Raised over 1.3 Million Dollars. Kids Are People Too was started by 14 year old Joseph Lazzerini, in hopes of getting kids like him self involved in the copmmunity. We are always acepting new members. What is Kids Are People Too?
Kids Are People Too is a group of Teenagers who work together to help others in their communities and around the world. KAPT is formed in schools, churches, Volunteer Centers, community centers, homeless shelters and other community-based organizations. What does Kids Are People Too do?

Through Hands on Efforts such as, 9/11, The Tsunami Relief, Cure Kids Cancer at Hasbro Childrens Hospital, The Tommorow Fund, Kids Are People Too has helped the elderly, hungry, homeless, disabled, sick, and victims of disasters.

How did Kids Are People Too get Started?

In 2004, Joseph Lazzerini 14 and a group of friends got together to raise money for The Tsunami Relief Fund. A few weeks later, the same kids raised $3,511.10 in D.L Beckwith Middle School, for Hasbro Childrens Hospital-Cure Kids Cancer Radio Thon. They were learning how great it feels to help others. They told their friends and in just a few weeks the group had grown to over 15 enthusiastic young people. That was the beginning of Kids Are People Too!
