	Dear Charlotte, Thank you, too. I just wanted to let you know that 2 days ago, a survey was done in the Philippines about how many Filipinos are supporting the Reproductive Health Bill/Responsible Parenthood/Family Planning. Around 7 out of 10 Filipinos are in favor of legally accessing information on artificial contraceptives and reproductive health and the teaching of sex education in public schools. This shows that the youth want to be aware of family planning and responsible parenthood regardless of the religion that separates my country. But until now, this move is being opposed by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines. Because of this survey, it is high time that the Catholic Church should start listening to its people. The youth deserves this right to access to information about reproductive health. The Catholic Church maintains that anything that interferes in the natural process affecting life is only a role that belongs to God. We are up against a very powerful Catholic Church. I hope through this e-consultation, the ICPD can be aware of situations that curtails development. Poverty or any social problem, is structural in an essence. This is not a conclusion but rather, an observation. Thanks again and regards to all.
