between urban violence, poverty, and inequalities****

Research to Reduce Urban Violence, Poverty and Inequalities Canadas
International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is launching a call for
proposals as part of the Safe and Inclusive Cities research initiative. In
partnership with the United Kingdoms Department for International
Development, this jointly-funded initiative aims to build an evidence base
on the connections between urban violence, poverty, and inequalities. It
also seeks to identify the most effective strategies for addressing these
challenges. Grants of up to CA$500,000 will be awarded to carry out
cutting-edge research in cities across Latin America and the Caribbean,
sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. ****
