My name is Sarah Johnstone and I am Programme Assistant for Africa and the
Middle East at the STARS Foundation. I am writing to inform you about our
recently launched 2012 Impact Awards.
The STARS Impact Awards support local organisations across Africa, the
Middle East and Asia-Pacific that are committed to achieving excellence in
the provision of services to disadvantaged children within the contexts of
health education, and protection. This year, thanks to our partnership with
the Ashmore Foundation, STARS is able to offer 14 Awards: 6 will be made up
of US$100,000 of unrestricted funding* *and additional consultancy support,
while the remaining 8 will range in value from US$15,000 to US$60,000.
We are building a network of organisations that might be willing to spread
the word about the availability of this opportunity, and would greatly
appreciate your collaboration in this endeavour. If you could please forward
this information on to your partners and networks, add some information on
the Awards to your newsletter and/or website, or assist us in spreading the
word about the Awards in any other way, we would be extremely grateful.
