Dear colleagues,

Please join the e-forum on key affected youth- announcement below.

Lives at Stake: Meeting the Needs of Young People Most at Risk of HIV

On behalf of The Interagency Youth Working Group (IYWG), FHI 360 is
hosting an online forum, Lives at Stake: Meeting the Needs of Young
People Most at Risk of HIV. The forum, which will be open from July 26
through July 28, will focus on young people within the populations
most at risk of HIV: young men who have sex with men (MSM), young
people who sell sex, and young people who inject drugs. Facilitated by
experts from, WHO, UNICEF, amfAR,YouthRISE, and the Nossal Institute
for Global Health at the University of Melbourne, the forum will
provide participants an opportunity to discuss challenges of and
strategies for meeting the needs of most-at-risk young people and ask
questions about Young People Most at Risk of HIV, a meeting report and
discussion paper from the IYWG, USAID, the UNAIDS Inter-Agency Task
Team on HIV and Young People, and FHI 360. A summary of this report is
available in the accompanying issue of YouthLens, Young People Most at
Risk for HIV/AIDS. An e-learning course on young people most at risk
of HIV is forthcoming from USAID.

We encourage you to check out these resources in advance of the forum.

Beginning on July 18th, you'll have the opportunity to send questions
and share your experiences with colleagues working with young people
most at risk of HIV. The forum itself will begin at 9 AM Eastern
Standard Time (EST) on July 26, with previously submitted questions
posted and answered, and end at 5 PM EST on July 28.

While this forum is focused on addressing the needs of young men who
have sex with men, young people who sell sex, and young people who
inject drugs, we welcome any organizations and professionals with a
focus on youth reproductive and sexual health, HIV prevention among
young people, or risk reduction and harm reduction programs for young
people.

Click here to register for the forum and read more about the
facilitators. We look forward to hearing from you!
