	Dear All friends, The Malawi Network of People Living with HIV in Malawi (MANET +) has introduced a programme called TB HIV social mobilization funded by UNAIDS and WHO. In collaborating with the Ministry of Health, Manet + conducted a four days training for Train of Trainers (TOT) of people living with HIV from Six Districts namely Blantyre, Zomba, Thyolo, Machinga, Dedza and Mzimba. TIPHASE Community Based Organisation under its Support Group also benefited from this programme because one of the member attended the training which was take place in Liwonde Sun Village Motel. To say the truth, this is a good project, because in rural areas they dont know that there is connection between these two diseases(TB and HIV) and sometime people who are on ARVs and found TB when they put them on TB treatment, they stop taking ARVs on their own.And through this programme I think people will have good and clear information that can assist them from these two diseases. And they dont know that TB is a cure disease and there is Drugs to take, when they follow instruction that Doctor gave him/her can help to be cured.Also they dont know that those affected by HIV and has TB can be cured from TB. Lastly I want to thank MANET+, UNAIDS,WHO and Ministry of Health for introducing this programme,because will assist us in our communities and more especially in our Support Groups.Am urging the Goverment of Malawi through funders to help us that TB treatment and ART therapy can put in one place (one Clinic ) that can help Patients to receive these Drugs in one day, one place a time than wasting money twice a month to receive drugs in different Clinics.
