  Dear All,

Youth Affairs Ghana-YAG www.youthaffairsghana.wordpress.com is a non
governmental youth led organization located in Nsawam in the Akuapem South
Municipality of the Eastern Region of the Republic of Ghana with the vision of
inspiring today`s youth to take action for what they believe in, and empower
them to take a stand on issues of interest.
To make this a reality for young people in Ghana, YAG needs the involvement,
assistance and contributions from individuals, organizations and development
partners who share the vision that young people needs empowerment
for sustainable development. We therefore seek individuals, organizations to
become our International Representatives.


JOB DESCRIPTION.
YAG INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE/
STATUS: ONLINE
YAG INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE will be an individual that will represent/act
as Ambassadors for Youth Affairs Ghana internationally. She/he will provide
experience, guidance and support to Youth Affairs Ghana to achieve its goals.
Such person will represent and promote Youth Affairs Ghana to other networks and
organizations.
RESPONSIBLITIES.
1. Represent Youth Affairs Ghana Internationally
2. Contribute to the development of YAG programs and projects by collecting
research and information on the best practices of youth empowerment programs.
3. Recruit young people in the region who can help develop fact sheets/project
effectively engaging network members to strengthen regional and international
partnerships.
4. Communicate with development partners and donor agencies to support the work
of Youth Affairs Ghana.
5. Proposal writing/grant seeking activities related to funding of long-term MDG
club activities.
Desired Skills
1. Strong writing skills
2. Research and analytical skills
3. International Organizational and interpersonal communications skills
4. Interest in policy/advocacy and/or outreach
5. Knowledge of the Millennium Development Goals
6. Frequent internet access (at least 3 times per week)
7. Ability to contribute your time a voluntary basis
