  Dear colleagues,

FHI is pleased to announce the availability of a new publication on the use of public health champions. Engaging influential or particularly persuasive individuals to promote specific public health issues is a unique and evidence-based advocacy strategy. A new 4-page brief from FHI, Engaging Innovative Advocates as Public Health Champions, describes the value of this approach to advocacy, FHI's experiences and lessons learned from champion programs, examples of other organizations implementing similar activities, and recommendations for groups interested in designing or supporting champion initiatives.
