	I hope this message finds you doing well. After the shoot of two new Scenarios from Africa films, we are now concentrating on the upcoming launch of the next Scenarios from Africa scriptwriting competition, which will take place from 1 December 2010 to 1 April 2011. The official contest website, which contains detailed instructions, the contest leaflet and questionnaire in English, French and Portuguese, is www.scenariosafrica.org The contest leaflet contains a list of suggested HIV-related topics about which participants can write, if they wish. One of those topics reads: “Write a story about someone who is attracted to people of the same sex.” We opted for that formulation after receiving advice from specialists in sexual diversity in Africa. Once the contest is over, winners will be selected by an international jury. We will then proceed with the production of two films, based on winning scripts, about sexual diversity. Once the films are completed, rest assured that we’ll get them into your hands as a matter of priority.
