	Hi European GYCA members, With the upcoming 2010 AIDS conference in Vienna, HIV prevalence rising in Eastern European countries and a European Union that is increasing power, now is the time to come together and join forces. GYCA is an amazing organisation. All of you are working on these topics, and got expertise that we need to strenghten this part of the worldwide network, and to fight HIV and AIDS, worldwide (in and out of Europe). At the AIDS 2008 Conference in Mexico it was clear again how important an organized coalition of young people is at large events. Unfortunately I am not familiar with many European organizations and youth activists outside my home country (and some YouAct members). Therefore I would like to start a discussion and ask you: 1. What organization do you work for? 2. What should happen in order to strengthen a European network? 3. Are you preparing anything for the European AIDS Conference, november 2009 in Cologne or the International AIDS Conference 2010 in Vienna? I was lucky to be selected for GYCA's ongoing e-course 'proposal writing and fundraising'.
