  Dear Friends,

2009 marks the 15th anniversary of the International Conference on
Population and Development (ICPD, 1994). 179 countries forged and inspiring
and visionary plan that integrated a wide range of population, development
and human rights issues into a 20 year program of action. But with only 5
years remaining to meet their commitments many governments are failing to
make progress against these goals, particularly in meeting the needs of all
young people.

So, 15andCounting is a campaign which seeks to highlight the specific needs
of young people who will be most affected by failure of success of their
government to achieve these goals.

This E-course on "ICPD: 15andcounting Advocacy" is joint effort of IPPF SARO
and GYCA South Asia to energize and empower young advocate arround South
Asian region. The course will be started from November 5, 2009 and will last
for four weeks.
