Meetings]
National HIV/AIDS Strategy: President Obama Wants to Hear from You
We need your help to make sure that the new National HIV/AIDS Strategy
addresses the needs of young people - all young people - in the United
States!
The Obama Administration has announced the creation of the first-ever,
long-term National HIV/AIDS Strategy. The battle with HIV and AIDS in the
United States has lasted nearly 30 years. A comprehensive national strategy
to combat the epidemic is long overdue. Together, we can make sure that this
strategy meets the needs of all young people and especially those most
disproportionally affected by HIV and AIDS.
The White House Office of National AIDS Policy is holding a series of
community discussions so that people across the country can help shape and
inform this new strategy. *Learn more about the HIV Town

Attend the meeting in your state and show the Obama Administration the
importance of including young people in efforts to create the new strategy.
Check out the list below to see where the community discussions will be
held. If you - or anyone you know - can get to these meetings, mark your
calendar. This is a critical opportunity to provide the White House with
information about the HIV prevention and treatment needs of young people.
We will forward information about the time and specific locations for each
of these town hall meetings as soon as it is available. For now, mark your
calendar and organize your friends to come along!

The Obama Administration has promised bold leadership on this issue, but
it's up to us to make sure that young people are represented in this debate
- and in the final National HIV/AIDS Strategy.
