I would greatly appreciate your help in disseminating the 2009-2010
International Youth Leadership Council application. It is also available

*Advocates for Youths International Youth Leadership Council (IYLC) is
currently recruiting for new members!*
IYLC members work with the staff of the International Division to increase
support for young peoples sexual and reproductive health, especially for
international family planning and the fight against global HIV and AIDS, by
organizing campus events, utilizing online and traditional media outlets,
developing educational workshops, attending conferences, and lobbying policy
makers at the national and international level.

To be eligible for the IYLC you must:
- Be an undergraduate student in the Washington, DC area
- Be willing to commit 20 hours a month to council activities
- Be able to attend the Urban Retreat, a three-day long training which
will take place the evening of Thursday, September 10 through Monday,
September 14
- Support the mission of Advocates for Youth
Council members receive monthly stipends of $200 for their work.
First and second year students as well as international students are
encouraged to apply.
