  Hi GYCA members,

We will be accepting applications for a free e-course on Political Advocacy
starting Monday, March 30 until Friday, April 3, 2009. The course will run
from April 9 to May 18, 2009.

*Applications are due by close of day on Friday, April 3.

This five-week e-course is a peer-to-peer training to educate young people
on effective political advocacy methodology for issues surrounding HIV and
AIDS. Participants are expected to commit at least 6-8 hours per week to the
course. Participants will end the course with an action plan they are
expected to implement. Final action plans should focus on an HIV and AIDS
related issue, and graduates of the course with viable action plans are
invited to apply for a small grant in the amount of USD $1,500 to implement
their project. The next opening for grant applications will take place in
mid-2009.

Please fill out the attached application form to apply. This form is also
available on our website: http://www.youthaidscoalition.org/page/ecourses
