MENA Public Health Conference Registration now is open and Free before Nov 18

Join us at the first MENA conference at the HSPH dedicated to public health in the Middle East and North Africa region. This event will be part of the Harvard MENA Weekend also taking place at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School.

-Registration is free before Nov. 18
-The Conference will be held Friday, Dec. 5, 8am-2pm.

Panels will include discussions on health sector reform, health and human rights, and environment, health and safety in the MENA region.

A distinguished panel of speakers will be participating in this landmark event and will include:

- Mrs. Sarah Leah Whitson, Executive Director, MENA Division, Human Rights Watch
- Dr. Sameh El-Saharty, Senior Health Policy Specialist, The World Bank
- Dr. Petros Koutrakis, HCP Director of the Cyprus Institute of
Environmental Health, Professor of Environmental Health at HSPH
- Dr. Marc Roberts, Professor of Political Economy at HSPH
- Dr. Noam Chomsky, Professor Emeritus of Linguistics at MIT
- Dr. Sameera Al-Tuwaijri, Director, SAFEWORK, ILO, Geneva
- Dr. P. Gregg Greenough, Director of Research, Harvard Humanitarian Initiative
- Dr. Ali Hashemi, Principal , Booz and Company, Dubai Global Health.
