Plz Respond SOON: IAC 2008 Arts Showcase for Members

Dear Friends,
This note is a follow-up to my posting in February about the GYCA arts
showcase at the Youth Networking Zone of IAC 2008.
I'm writing to see if there are any members who want to exhibit, perform,
or show their films/videos at the conference. If so, please let me know
very soon, as the space--which we are organizing now--is filling up
quickly, as we are sharing the Zone with other youth groups.
Arts might include theater, music, dance, film and video, photography,
graphic arts, mixed media, and more. The information will be very useful
whether or not you plan to attend the IAC, so please let us know what you
are doing in any case, and we will add you to an arts-related database now
being discussed.
Please note that scholarships for this activity are not available. This is
for members already attending, who can bring their work with them.
There are also two other Zones where your work might be displayed: women
have the opportunity to participate in the Women's Zone, and the Cultural
Zone will welcome arts used to address HIV/AIDS. The Cultural Zone plans
discussions and sharing among artists, nonprofits, scientists,
psychologists, and a wide range of others on subjects related to culture
and HIV/AIDS.
There is a women's march and rally where arts can be displayed as well.
Possibilities include graphic arts, theater, music, fashion. We will keep
you posted about other opportunities, too, especially for young people.
