Humans' it is said are all masters of their destiny in so many
ways,so why do we go through life pointing fingers at the next
person who's not similar to us and who does not share the same
views and opinions of life as we do?
in our strive for personal satisfaction,we all crave happiness and
just as human nature is diverse so also is each persons definition
of happiness.Happiness in my own context is me stretched out with
my feet up,smiling at my diplomatic achievements, and we all know
there are very few people who would identify with my idea of happiness
so who are we to judge the next person's means of achieving happiness
when it dosent hurt us or deter our own happiness?.we turn our back on
lesbians,gaymen,transexuals,anorexic people,single mothers,tattoed and
body pierced individuals e.t.c. true we dont appreciate their lifesyle but
if this is their own way of attaining happiness without interfering in other
people's lives, why should we treat them with any measure of disdain?
We crossed our fingers and prayed for racism to come to an end
because it encroached on our happiness and now its a thing of the past
and happiness has become an individual norm, why dont we respect each
other's mode of achieving personal satisfaction and concentrate more on
individual resourcefullness.
Lets give each other the freedom to be FREE.
