Filmmakers Abroad aims to connect like-minded filmmakers and film students from all over the world. Artists belonging to Filmmakers Abroad wish to use the medium as tool to connect and unite people from all over the world.

Coming up:

--> Work begins on website

This website cannot - considering our complete absence of funds - be a .com / .org website. We will begin with a free domain. Let's be honest - I'm a student, and some of you are students, going in for a .com / .org site now wouldn't be ideal.

Rightio, the website itself will hopefully put our name out there. It will be updated by a webmaster fortnightly/monthly. Live chat, profiles, our aims, partners, proposals etc. will be there too.

--> Potential roles


At the moment, only a couple of roles are necessary:

Webmaster
Publicity Officer

Later on we will see more interesting positions emerge i.e. treasurer; graphic designer; producer etc.

Everyone is welcome to vote on the logo designs that will be posted soon.

--> What you can do at this very moment

If it is possible, download msn messenger. We will be having meetings online. Other worthwhile ones include skype.com - if there is a more popular chatroom, i.e. yahoo, we will go to that one.
