A discussion forum and resource centre for university & college students, caterers and staff who are campaigning to achieve Fairtrade Status for their university or college. (see www.fairtrade.org.uk/get_involved_university.htm for details).

This is also space to share information and experiences on getting hold of Fairtrade products, and for asking questions or advice on any challenges you might be encountering at your university or college.

Some key questions to discuss:

- Where do Fairtrade suppliers not currently meet the specific demands of university caterers? (e.g. such as wholesale purchasing)

- Is there a demand for a product where a Fairtrade equivalent does not currently exist? (e.g. Fairtrade staff uniforms)

- What is the best way to facilitate dialogue between university caterers and Fairtrade suppliers to ensure that supply meets the demand (and specific requirements) of the University catering sector?
