VIP, is realistic group and believe that, there is no profit from war and peace project is important for life to the people in the Horn of Africa countries(የአፍሪካ ቀንድ). The Ethio – Eritrean war(b/n two ሐበሻ brothers) in minor border tens of thousands of people have been killed and suffered tens of thousands of casualties as a direct consequence of the conflict and spent hundreds of millions of dollars on that war. A Peace plan brokered by the Organization of African Unity has failed to stop the conflict, which is affecting the entire Horn of Africa (esp. Somalia).
The Purpose of this group is bring Ethio-Eritrean people together from around the world for reconciliation and healing solution from past conflict . Because love is absolute healing for any type of conflict, Have you seen many Ethio-Eritrean people they worship and serve God together in one church? That is absolute healing because of Christ, when we preach that people can receive Spirit of the new life, for a healing has to become a mental reality in this present life now. If healing is a fact it can and must be verified and demonstrated. That means Christ is absolute answer for any conflict. For this reason Prayer is very important for our transformation (to play our role). We believe in prayer and the role of churches in peace building is Reconciliation, transformation, Development, to promoting Good leadership with good Governance and others to fulfil the need of our society. We need to pray for peaceful leaders who love their people. Good leadership guides the society to the way of truth, life, love and unity. God will bless us with the true leaders we need to have peaceful nations; a nation that has a peaceful leader is a blessed nation.
We need to break the cycle of conflict to heal people and communities, and to build relationship based on trust and mutual acceptance by building peace with Ethio –Eritrean community and Horn of Africa. For more information Visit
