Dear All,
Its really refreshing to see the DTA network coming up alive again!
Obviously many of us still keep the spirits alive in our various organizations with several projects in our domains of specialization, but i suggest the facilitation team may have to gear up extra efforts on constantly updating and getting to members, to encourage those who have not been contributing to discussions on the list-serve to getting on board.
So much has happened since 2006/2007, and it would be a good learning platform, to share the lessons, challenges and successes of others.
It's good news for us at Centre for Governance & Qualitative Studies (CGQS) that we have taken the advocacies to another level ... we now share a couple of MDGs and development network projects with the Worldbank, CIVICUS and INTRAC International.
Of course, it will be great to hear success stories from others on the network.
Regards,
LEKAN FADEYI
Snr. Program Officer, CGQS.

Bethlehem Foundation memebers were very receptive of the step-down training, as soon as we the DTA trainee proposed the date, everyone agreed to it,that was what made it possible to hold it immediately after the training,(on a lighter note) some of us BF are using some DTA terms and quotes.
To those that havent responded, i suggest the Facilitation team get in touch, maybe physically with them. One problem i can ready point out may be the cost of being online,we dicovered that all cyber cafes have stepped up their prices, this may be a constrain to some

Greetings from the Facilitation Team,
How did your organization respond when you brief them about DTA training and your proposed step down?
How do we resolve the problem of some organization not contributing to the discussion on the list serve?
Counting on your response on these two questions before midnight Saturday, so that we can push on to meet deadline on other issues
