Most of plight women who lived in HARER-ETHIOPIA are ground-nut decorticator rn They used a very back-ward method of decorticating , they used their hands, teeth and stones.rnTheir income is $0.50/72 hoursrn Because of this , their product out- put is very low (it takes them 3 days to finished decorticating 20 kg of peanut), their income per day is not sufficient for living , more- over , they spend the whole day by decorticating ,they have no time to be engaged in other social activities .rn Considering the above problems, we have planned to improve, their production capacities by organizing them and supplying a manually manipulated nut-Sheller machines that can decorticate 50kg/hour , rnBy doing these, we believe that, their income will be increase for more than 1000% and also creates ample time to accomplish other duties and it gives time to children for their studies.
