I have heard from some people confirming their participation in the
conference call this Sunday and others are interested in receiving the
notes. If you haven't confirmed your participation yet, please do
before this Wednesday, August 26th.

- Humanitarian & Compassionate Applications
- Youth in limbo (undocumented youth)
: we need to get more youth involved in CCR campaigns that
touch on these issues (need more input on this)
- Support for Tamil community
o Raise public awareness
o Need to keep youth informed
o Need hands-on support within the Tamil community; build a broader
solidarity campaign (note: use CCRTOR CCR Toronto listserve see
Colleens email)
- Comments from the government/Minister of Citizenship and Immigration
on changes to the refugee system in Canada how can/should we respond?
- What issues and actions do we want to raise at the CCR Working Group

- Funding for Youth Network
- Youth and CCR Consultations
- there will be a one-day meeting for youth the day before the start of
the CCR Consultation (in Windsor, December 2009). We will need people
to get involved and help to organize it. Who can help?
- there is some funding to bring youth the CCR Consultation in
November. If you have ideas of other funding sources, please let us know.

- Accessibility: how can youth get more involved in the CCR?;
creation of youth space
*NEXT CONFERENCE CALL*: Before or after the CCR Working Group meeting in
Montreal on 11 and 12 September?
