Subject: EDUCATION IN AFRICA
Sent: Jun 19th, 2009 - 08:00:23

INTRODUCTION
To complement the 4 point agenda as pronounced by Enugu state Government on education however; education is playing a vital role to help improve the lives of the people by enlighten them to embrace industrialization and economic/social wellbeing. It was observed that education in most of the African countries is facing a serious rundown as it concerns maintenance of a learning facility which impairs quality education.

FATAL NEGLECT; WINDING UP OF EDUCATION SYSTEM
Most countries in Africa; emphasizes with a practical examples, to the strange method of educational system in Nigeria. Education in the state of the federation is facing a lot of challenges on the availability of basic facilities needed for a proper learning and education. Right to education was not equipped with what it requires to sustain it with out malfunctioning. Learning can only be achieved when the environment is concomitant and related with education set up, where infrastructures for classes are fully equipped to a certain level of availability of resources. It’s unimaginable in this present time to see schools were there are no chairs to sit or desk to write, children lie with there belly on the floor to do their class work in school, the wall is made to be the class room chalkboard, the teachers complained on unpaid and unsteady salary by the authorities. In the course of this exercise, we observed the following factors that are breaking
down educational system in the aspect of motivation, inspiring, and quality teaching. They explained there reasons of absentness to work; while they were not paid, how could they pay for their transportation to school, especially those schools located in the village communities. In a case of downfall it is disastrous because the class windows has no led to be covered with.. The children get wet and cold when this occur including books, bags, chalks, floor, the memory anthem inscribed on the wall for daily recitation is washed off by water dropping from leaking zincs. Truly, the sight was pathetic. We can make this change with our little resources to burst education, we can help student in the rurals since they can’t travel every day to the urban to gain a relatively standard education.
