Organizational Overview

AFRICAN YOUTH TELEVISION PRODUCTION,youth-media service organization founded in
June 2006 as an initiative to engage the mass media in promoting and
reporting African youth activities and to build capacity for such
development, as a project ALBIM COMMUNICATIONS LTD, a registered
independent media company.

AYTV GOAL

To provide media coverage for African youth activities, whilst network with African media organizations to provide capacity building for youth development.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

- To promote African youth activities across the continent.
- To showcase activities of youth-led organizations, development partners and corporate bodies.
- To empower African youth with a good understanding of the needs for self-development.
- To promote the conviction that AfricanYouth represent a powerful force for change.
- To use AYMNET as a platform to hear the voice of the voiceless local youth.
- To promote mutual benefits and active partnership with regular media organizations for promoting development in African.

AYTV ACTIVITIES

: AFRICAN YOUTH TELEVISION PRODUCTION
Activity: producer of YOUNG ACHIEVERS producing youth-oriented youth program and
youth media coverage services.

: YOUTH-MEDIA FORUM
Activity: To provide an avenue for youth empowerment through
seminars, interactive session, conferences and exchange programs that
covers area such as peer and civic education, social and communication skill
etc.

: AYTV SHORT TERM GOALS

: To produce youth-oriented for show on T.V. channels
: Start media dialogue with regular media organizations across the country for the need to promote Nigerian Youth activities.
- To facilitate capacity building on media ethics for NYMP Team members.
- To facilitate for sponsorship consideration and networking media partnership.

AYTV LONG TERM GOALS

- To establish a T.V. broadcast Station
- To establish youth information centers in local areas on the continent.
- To build AYTV to world media standard
Basically function is mouthpiece for promoting African youth activities.
